A leading light of this generation’s Portuguese and global Fado movement, Camané has been called the greatest fadista since Amália Rodrigues and Maria de Fé. Having launched his career as a teen by performing in clubs and theatrical revues, the singer released his debut disc in 1995 – and has sold more than six million albums since.
