An Evening with Malcolm Gladwell

Join us for an evening of intellectual curiosity and captivating storytelling with one of the most influential minds of our time, Malcolm Gladwell.

Gladwell will be in conversation as he shares stories and insights from his new book Revenge of the Tipping Point. Piya Chattopadhyay, host of the CBC's The Sunday Magazine, will moderate the conversation.

What does the heartbreaking fate of the cheetah tell us about the way we raise our children? Why do Ivy League schools care so much about sports? What is the Magic Third, and what does it mean for racial harmony? In this provocative new work, Gladwell returns for the first time in 25 years to the subject of social epidemics and tipping points, this time with the aim of explaining the dark side of contagious phenomena. With his signature wit and insight into social science, Gladwell will explore the profound effects of society’s tipping points, while offering a guide to making sense of the contagions of the modern world.

Welcome remarks by Susan Christoffersen, Dean of the Rotman School of Management. Every ticket includes a hardcover copy of Revenge of the Tipping Point.
