Elliot Lake Heritage Week Movie Marathon
Friday, February 22, 2019, from 1 to 5 p.m.
Ever wonder what it takes to build a town from scratch? Or to work below the Earth’s surface?
On February 22, the Elliot Lake Nuclear and Mining Museum will be hosting a free movie marathon aimed at answering those questions. Three films about the city’s history and industry will be presented, including:
- 1 p.m.: Song for a Miner, Northern Lifestyles: Scenes from a Mining Town
- 2 p.m.: A City is Born: The Story of Elliot Lake
- 3 p.m.: Carved from Rock: The Story of Elliot Lake
Free snacks will also be provided. All are welcome!
