Kawartha Family Heritage Day

Come to the Olde Gaol Museum in Lindsay on Family Day, enjoy the activities and refreshments, and learn about what our ancestors did in the First World War, here and overseas. Genealogists will be on hand to track down family soldiers' histories. Historians will talk about the home front. And members of the Kawartha Spinners and Weavers Guild will present the history of textile making at the time. Kids can learn to weave their own articles and take them home. Admission is free, donations accepted. Parking available in the city hall lot.
