The Anderson Farm Museum Celebrates Ontario Heritage Week
Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 1 to 4 p.m.
The City of Greater Sudbury Museums are celebrating Ontario Heritage Week at the Anderson Farm Museum by unveiling a donated illustration of the farm as it was during the 1940s, and screening an interview with Jean Dudar, one of the remaining grandchildren of the builders of the farm. There will be heritage craft demonstrations in the farmhouse, as well as the “This is my Greater Sudbury memory …” station, where visitors can record a short story or anecdote of living/working, etc. in the Greater Sudbury area. These clips will be edited for inclusion in Greater Sudbury Memories, a web project collecting the stories of Greater Sudburians online at www.sudburymemories.ca.
