The Elgin & Winter Garden Theatres provide two full-sized studios available for rental for a variety of uses — including rehearsals, auditions, theatrical workshops, press conferences, meetings, etc. Studio A also contains a ceiling grid to accommodate theatrical lighting.
Rehearsal studios A and B
Size of each rehearsal studio:
- 53 feet 9 inches (16.4 m) x 49 feet 9 inches (15.2 m) x 12 feet 5 inches (3.8 m)
- south wall has 37-foot x 8-foot (11.3-m x 2.4-m) mirrors with ballet bar
Floor surface:
- black Battleship linoleum on sprung plywood underlay
Facilities:
- two two-person dressing rooms with sink, washroom and shower; one room is located off the studio, the other is off the lobby on the same floor
- kitchen area with sink, refrigerator and storage cupboards; two washrooms
Studio equipment:
- one upright Yamaha UIPE piano tuned to A440 (additional tunings at the Licensee's expense, conducted by the Theatre's tuners)
- 50 chairs, 8 folding tables
- black curtains to cover any two walls of the studio
