Family Day Weekend Tours at the Toronto Railway Museum
Saturday, February 15, 2020 with tours from 2 to 2:30 p.m. (Tales of the Rails) and 3 to 3:30 p.m. (Mechanical Marvels)
This summer, the Toronto Railway Museum will be unveiling two new tours for visitors to experience: Tales of the Rails and Mechanical Marvels.
Learn more about why railways were introduced in Toronto, and how the ever-increasing population impacted train travel. Along with access to our collection, there will be interactive aspects of the tour and guests will learn how railways significantly facilitated and enhanced the development of the city.
Each tour will last approximately 30 minutes and will take guests on a walk through the park and into some of the passenger cars and buildings in our collection.
Attendees are advised that there will be walking on uneven ground involved, as well as climbing ladders and stairs – be prepared. No refunds issued on purchases for the tour unless the event is cancelled by the event organizer.
Please dress for the weather and icy park conditions. We look forward to seeing you this Family Day long weekend!
Get your tickets here! Your ticket will also provide admission to the museum for the day.
Tickets: $2.26 to $4.42 plus HST
